Even in the fast-moving landscape of modern sports betting, InfernoBet qualify as an incredibly young bookie. In fact, they were only founded in 2020, making them the definition of a new arrival on the market.
If this youth puts you off, we’d encourage you to open up your mind a little. New bookies might not have the track record of their more established competitors, but they can often represent some of the most exciting options out there. They’re desperate for new customers, after all, and this can motivate them to offer innovative features, valuable odds, and intriguing promotions.
The omens for InfernoBet are certainly positive, from the prestigious licenses they’ve already secured, to the industry veterans who have built their platform. Have they managed to build on these foundations, and create a sportsbook worthy of your precious time and money? All this, and plenty more, shall be revealed in our InfernoBet review.
The InfernoBet welcome offer certainly sounds appealing. The headline offer is a £10 free bet in return for a deposit of £10 or more, which is enough to grab any punter’s attention. When you look deeper into the details, though, the amount of value you’re getting is questionable.
Before we get into all that, here’s a quick and easy guide on how to use the InfernoBet sign up offer:
So far, the offer sounds relatively straightforward, and as if it offers fair value. That is, apart from one obvious red flag, which we’ll get to shortly. Before we do, these are the main terms and conditions which come attached to the offer:
The simple value proposition of depositing £10, and potentially getting £20 back, is definitely attractive. The obstacles that stand in your way, however, deduct from the offer’s appeal. The rollover requirement of 10x your free bet winnings is harsh, and the fact that you’re only given seven days to do so makes it even tougher.
This isn’t a bad offer, by any means, and you’re effectively only being asked to risk £10 of your own money. If you’re happy with that, then the lure of a potential £20 bonus may be tricky to ignore!
An intriguing welcome offer should be enough to get bettors in through the digital door of your sportsbook. To keep them there for the long term, though, you’d better back that up with some appealing ongoing promotions too.
InfernoBet has a decent range of longer-term offers in place. There are six at the time of writing, which cover five different sports. That said, the actual structures of the promotions are all fairly similar. Here are some of the best deals that are currently available:
The Premier League is almost certainly the single-biggest individual competition when it comes to British betting. As such, it makes sense to have a promotion specifically for it.
The InfernoBet Premier League promotion – called ‘It’s Play Time’ – offers a £10 free bet when you spend £25 or more on Premier League games. To trigger it, you must deposit at least £10 using the promo code ‘BACK’. You’ll then have 30 days to complete the wagering requirements, which – as with the welcome offer – include betting through any free bet winnings ten times. In all, across that month, you can win a total of £20 from your free bets, which will then be converted back into real money.
In addition to that, InfernoBet have a more general football offer. This also gives you a £10 free bet when you deposit £10, then wager £25 on football within 30 days. The only real difference is the promo code, which – in this case – is ‘CLEATS’.
Horse racing is a massive part of the British betting scene. It was certainly a smart decision by InfernoBet, therefore, to build a promotion around the ‘sport of kings’.
This offer is certainly similar to the prior two, in that it’s built around free bets. In this case, though, the stakes are lower all-round. You still need to make a £10 deposit (using the bizarre code ‘CARPET’), but you must only place £15 in bets to qualify. In turn, this nets you a smaller £5 free bet. The rollover requirements are still 10x your free bet winnings, and you can still get £20 converted back into real money.
In addition to the aforementioned sports, InfernoBet currently have ongoing promotions for ice hockey, table tennis, and basketball. They all roughly operate in the same way, though. Namely, you make a deposit of at least £10, bet £15-25 on those sports to unlock a free bet, then bet through any winnings 10x before converting them to cash.
With an older, established sportsbook, you take it for granted that you’ll be able to bet on just about anything you please. When it comes to newer bookies, though, you never know quite what you’re going to get. In this context, we were pleasantly surprised to discover the selection of markets which InfernoBet have already managed to put in place.
There are over 30 of them in all, covering a nice range of both mainstream and smaller sports. Major markets like football, horse racing and tennis are all present, as are other favourites like cricket, golf, rugby, boxing, and various motorsports. All the main American leagues are also available to wager on, as are several of the most popular games for eSports betting.
You won’t necessarily find the largest selection of niche markets here. That won’t be a big deal for most users, though, and there are still a few such sports like handball, futsal, and sailing.
InfernoBet take live betting very seriously – as we’ll see later – and we were very impressed with the number of in-play markets sitting alongside the pre-match ones. Flitting between these two types is made incredibly easy, with their coverage of both genuinely excellent. This covers individual bet types too, which vary brilliantly from the old classics like Match Winner, to score- or player-specific wagers. If you’re more of a long-term bettor, you’ll also find plenty of Outright betting opportunities to choose from.
Football is the biggest sports betting market in Britain. It’s the first sport most people will turn to when they visit a new bookie, and will serve as the biggest income stream for most sportsbooks. It makes sense to prioritise the beautiful game, therefore, and that’s exactly what InfernoBet have done here.
Football sits atop both their in-play and pre-match sections, and there’s a seriously impressive amount of depth in each. Every domestic, continental, and international competition you could realistically think of is included. From the World Cup and Euros, to the Champions League and Europa League, right down to lower-division fare in countries around the world, it’s all available to bet on.
Even better, you’re given plenty of freedom in terms of what you specifically wager on. Again, just about every bet type you might expect from the biggest bookies is also represented here. Just a handful of examples include:
InfernoBet also bundle some of the most common multiples together for you, saving you the time of combining them yourself. ‘Match Result and Over 2.5 Goals’, and ‘Match Result and Both Teams to Score’, are just a couple of examples.
There’s also a solid selection of Outright markets on offer, ranging from League Winner to Top Scorer, and these are available on a surprisingly broad range of competitions. On top of all that, InfernoBet also provide intriguing Specials bets for the top markets, with ‘Player X Top Goalscorer and Team Y to Win the League’ being a particularly attractive proposition.
Given how difficult it can be to secure the relevant licenses, we were impressed to see that Horse Racing betting is already available on InfernoBet. While – at the time of writing – it is limited to the USA, you still get to bet on races at eight of the country’s most popular racecourses. Still, we’d hope to see more countries – particularly the UK and Ireland – added soon.
In its current state, the horse racing section is fairly limited in terms of betting markets. You can only place Win and Each Way bets right now, and useful features like Best Odds Guaranteed are not included. Again, though, this should be improved with time.
Between the extremely long season, and the sheer volume of matches, tennis is an excellent betting market. It’s also one which is often underrated, but InfernoBet have thankfully not made this mistake.
Their tennis section is already impressive, encompassing competitions large and small from all around the world. Naturally the Slams are covered, but so are less-heralded tournaments like the Pro Series and International Series. You’ll usually find dozens of both pre-match and in-play betting opportunities at a given time, and there are also Outright markets for major events like the US Open and Wimbledon.
The three sports above tend to dominate both betting markets and coverage. Any sportsbook which truly desires success, though, must offer far more. Thankfully, InfernoBet fall into this category.
Both the in-play and pre-match areas are absolutely stacked with other betting markets. Sports like golf, MMA, and even table tennis have dozens of markets available at the time of writing, and – during their respective seasons – we’d expect this to be true of every noteworthy sport.
In addition to British favourites like cricket and rugby, American sports fans will be delighted with the coverage of the NFL, NBA and MLB. InfernoBet have done a great job of tapping into the eSports trend too, with League of Legends, Counter Strike, Dota 2, and plenty more open for betting.
If you want to be seen as a successful modern bookie, you simply have to nail your live betting features. We’re delighted to say that InfernoBet have done exactly that. In fact, in-play betting arguably seems like their priority here. Live markets are certainly the first thing you see by default, whether navigating the main list of sports or the central dashboard.
In-play betting is supported for every major sport, with football and tennis particularly well-served. Dip into an ongoing matchup, and you’ll be greeted by both live statistics and a visualisation tool, both of which help to make up for the lack of streaming. Naturally there are fewer complex bet types compared to pre-match, but all the major betting markets are still available.
Along with live betting, mobile features are the main standard by which a bookie’s modernity is judged. It’s unfortunate, therefore, to see that InfernoBet are clearly lacking in this area.
For starters, there is no mobile betting app available whatsoever, either for iOS or Android users. It’s basically assumed that a professional sportsbook will have an app nowadays, so the lack of one certainly reflects badly on InfernoBet. Of course they’re a new bookie, but the developers behind the platform are highly-experienced… so surely they could have put an app together before the launch?
Without an actual app, of course, you’re reliant on the mobile version of a bookie’s site. Well, that’s not very good either here! The interface is frustrating to navigate, and the layout simply hasn’t scaled well. In fact, it doesn’t seem like InfernoBet have built a mobile-specific version of the site at all, instead relying on the automatically-adapted version of the desktop website.
For the most part, InfernoBet has stood up pretty well against its more established competitors so far. It must be said, however, that – when it comes to exciting or innovative features – this sportsbook is sorely lacking. Things like live streaming, Bet Builders, loyalty programs, and mobile apps are all pretty commonplace with major modern bookies. All are absent on InfernoBet.
With that said, the features which are present are executed very well, with live betting being the clear standout. We’ve already mentioned that there are plenty of in-play markets available, but – functionally-speaking – the whole thing simply performs well. Both live odds and statistics update frequently, and live bets are processed pleasingly quickly too, meaning that you’ll rarely miss out on a short-term opportunity.
Apart from that, there’s not a huge amount to write home about. InfernoBet do have modern essentials like SSL encryption and a nice variety of payment methods in place, but there’s a clear absence of any ‘luxury’ features.
When it comes to banking options, it’s generally a case of ‘the more, the better’. That said, if the most common methods are supported, most people shouldn’t have any trouble putting money in their account.
That’s generally the case with InfernoBet. Most importantly, Visa and Mastercard payments are both supported, and PayPal is a welcome inclusion too. These are backed up by ecoPayz, MuchBetter, Paysafecard, PayViaPhone, and Trustly (which facilitates bank transfers). All deposits are processed immediately. The minimum deposit amounts vary between £10 and £20, depending on the method.
The same methods are available for withdrawals, except for Paysafecard, and these will generally be processed within 3-7 business days. While the minimum amount is a nice, low £2.50, all withdrawals are subject to an annoying £2.50 transaction fee.
This is one area in which sportsbooks have improved vastly over time, and InfernoBet fits neatly into the upward trend. Their sign up process is nice and straightforward, taking only a few minutes – at most – to get through.
You can get started by going to InfernoBet.com – either on your computer or phone – and hitting the ‘Join Now’ button. A box will now appear, prompting you to provide your email address and phone number, and create a password for your account. Do so, and click ‘Submit’, to continue to the next stage.
You’ll be taken to a busier screen now, but it’s still easy enough to get through. Just enter your name, gender, date of birth, and address, then enter a promo code if you have one. Now set your marketing preferences, agree to the T’s & C’s, and click ‘Submit’ again.
A four-digit code will be sent to you via both email and SMS. Simply enter that code back on InfernoBet’s website when prompted, and click ‘Submit’ a final time to finish the process.
Verifying your identity is frustrating for every bettor. Given that it’s required by the UK Gambling Commission, though, InfernoBet don’t have a choice in the matter… and neither do you! Fortunately it doesn’t take too long to do so here, by following these steps:
The user interface is actually one area where you – as the user – don’t necessarily want much innovation or creativity. Rather, a good sportsbook interface is one which allows you to easily find the markets you’re looking for, clearly display the odds, and place your bets quickly.
We’re happy to say that InfernoBet succeeds in all three respects. Visually it’s quite basic, with an unremarkable, grey-based colour scheme and a handful of generic graphics. Functionally, though, it works very well indeed.
The most useful navigational tool is the menu on the left. This houses every sport that’s available to bet on, and can be expanded or collapsed depending on your preferences. It’s split neatly into Live and Pre-Match sections, which you can flick between at will, and there’s a search function to help you swiftly find a specific competition or team.
The bulk of the screen is given to an extremely useful Dashboard section. This is where your markets for a particular matchup will be displayed, but it can also show you all the biggest live and upcoming games at a glance. Or, if you prefer, you can switch to Live Overview, Live Multiview, Live Calendar and Results screens. The amount of flexibility you have here is fantastic, and – whichever view you pick – you’ll get a lot of information quickly.
Finally, the rest of the site’s main areas are housed in menus at the top and bottom of the screen. Cashier, Account, Promotions and Live Chat are all situated along the top, while important sections like FAQ and Terms & Conditions can be found at the bottom.
Quality customer support has become a minimum requirement from a modern sportsbook. Simply put, if you’ve got any issues whatsoever on the platform, you should be able to get quick and helpful assistance.
InfernoBet ably satisfy these requirements. Most importantly, live chat is available with the simple click of a button along the top menu. This is easily your best way to get in touch with the support team, who are available from 08:00 – 00:00 every day of the week. Alternatively, if your issue isn’t so urgent, you can use their ticketing system.
InfernoBet also have an FAQ on the site, but it’s pretty underwhelming. The Casino section is the main focus, meaning many important Sportsbook matters are ignored, and it’s simply not comprehensive… or very useful!
It’s always hard to learn many details about a brand-new company like InfernoBet, and unfortunately that’s the case here too. Apart from being launched in 2020, there’s simply not much information out there for this brand.
Perhaps the most useful nugget is that this sportsbook was created, and continues to be operated by, ProgressPlay. Despite only being founded themselves in 2012, ProgressPlay have already built up a wealth of experience in online betting, which obviously bodes well for InfernoBet.
Another important point to note is that InfernoBet hold licenses with the UK Gambling Commission and Malta Gaming Authority, which lets you know that they’re definitely legit.
Given how recently they launched, we have to admit that we’re impressed with how much InfernoBet have achieved.
In many respects, they’re already a match for their vastly more established competitors. All of the most important boxes have been ticked, from an intuitive and straightforward interface, to excellent customer service, to a massive range of markets.
Is it a perfect sportsbook? Of course not, and we wouldn’t expect it to be yet. All the promotions come with some tricky requirements, and we’d certainly hope to see a mobile app available sooner rather than later.
With that said, InfernoBet has built a strong base, and it’s only going to get better from here. If you’re looking for a young and competent new sportsbook, we can already recommend signing up with InfernoBet now, and giving their welcome offer some strong consideration.
