A casino and a live casino, core betting products, went live in 2017. They have worked well, and have served customers reliably. (Most online casinos, like Mr. Play, couple their operation with a sportsbook, but Mr. Play launched its sportsbook two years after the casino.) The Mr. Play website, along with its sibling sites, is consistently attractive and reliably operational. (The UK can hardly complain, because — as will be seen below — Mr. Play's operational model is consistent and reliable.) Also, the operational consistency yields a service that is appealing to both new and existing customers. Mr. Play can be accessed in both PC and mobile versions.

Mr Play Sign Up Offer

Any gaming firm that secures a license to operate from the UK Gambling Commission complies with the very highest and very best kind of compliance. This is because the Commission does not issue licenses to just anyone. It has also, from time to time, issued fines to some quite well-known operators, and the ultimate sanction it can impose is revoking a license. Mr. Play satisfies the regulators that he acts fairly with regard to free bets and bonuses. Offers for new customers are expected to be transparent and achievable. Those who register can claim up to £20 (or currency equivalent) in the form of a free bet.

Mr Play’s welcome offer is subject to the following Terms & Conditions:

Mr. Play's welcome bonus isn't much to write home about. The new customer offer pales in comparison to the kind of enticing sign-up bonuses you find at almost any other UK-facing betting site. If this were a top 10 list of most underwhelming betting bonuses, the Mr. Play offer would surely occupy a prominent position. Indeed, the only reason here dignified enough to attract a potential customer to open an account is the top-line guarantee (which is nonetheless kind of sad) that the customer signing up will essentially get a free bet equivalent to his or her initial qualifying deposit. Placing a bet that qualifies you for this offer isn't hard to do, but you'll have to make a £10 or higher first bet to get the equivalent value in terms of the free bet. After the initial deposit and first bet have been made, the bonus is accessible with kind of an ominous click of a button.

Mr Play Ongoing Promotions (Last Updated: 2025)

The free bet's value means Mr Play's welcome bonus is not expensive compared with promotions that cost more. Those promotions spend more on tokens and free bets that, when taken together, seem to have a greater value attached to them. But if you understand these offers in terms of the pricing game that gambling sites play when trying to attract new customers, then the Mr Play offer is actually better than it looks. On top of that, the Mr Play welcome bonus offer is also an incentive for potential customers to check out Mr Play's casino games. And when it comes to testing out the casino games, Mr Play has some exacting incentives, which they call "welcome bonus offers," to get new customers to do just that.

Enhanced Acca Winnings

Current customers can earn up to 77% in bonuses on accumulator bets. To earn the bonus, customers must place bets with at least four selections made before the event's start. Each selection must carry odds of 1.20 or better (roughly, 5/4 with a bookie). Accumulator bets can consist of up to 15 selections, and generally have a minimum of four. (Horse racing is an exception and has a minimum of five selections.) It's possible for these accumulator bonuses to trigger payouts of up to as much as £11,000.

Loyalty Program

mr play logo screenshot

When you sign up to Mr. Play, you automatically get enrolled in the Mr. Play loyalty program, and this is a program with some very nice levels. There are seven different levels altogether, and they range from new member to bronze; then it moves on to silver, gold, and platinum; and then there are the last two levels, which are called premium and prestige. The loyalty program seems to be mostly focused on the casino side of the operation, and that is good because the rewards for loyal casino players are quite extravagant. You earn points at a rate of 1 point per every £40 you wager. Then, on top of that, there are 21 different tiers of rewards. The first three levels are called "goodies," and then the last three levels are called "bonuses." The last three levels are given over a 72-hour period.

Mr Play Markets & Betting Options

The suite of products offered by Mr Play is relatively new, yet prominently displayed on their home page is the not-so-hidden betting option and a huge welcome offer. They didn't slide into sports betting awkwardly like some casino sites have. Instead, Mr Play keeps their sports betting section neat and simple, which perfectly complements the kind of casual, straightforward betting experience they seem to be aiming for.

General

General sport banner

The market presentation at Mr Play is one that you will likely find familiar, given that this is a White Label site and it shares a common software base with other sites that also employ this software to present their betting markets. In any case, it also functions quite well, with an arrangement that at least provides the appearance of good order and with fast access to a search function that could take you right to your betting want. You could get as far as searching for a market by plugging in to a Search box the name of the event or league you might want to bet on. If you aren’t in the search mode or aren’t positive what you might want to search for, you could just idle by watching the main betting leagues of the day and the list of betting sports that seems to scroll right under the top of the site. And by the way, those aren’t just any old sports that are listed as available for betting. You could place a wager upon Politics, Esports, and TV and Entertainment as part of the betting sports you can access at Mr Play.

Football

football blue banner

The most popular betting sport with Mr Play is Football by a long shot. The top betting countries are listed first, and they happen to be the same five countries that produce the most football fans. They are England, Spain, Italy, Germany, and France. Their domestic leagues are the main focus of betting, and the odds increase dramatically when international tournaments like the Champions League or Euro 2025 Qualifying get underway. The rest of the countries where football is played are listed in alphabetical order, and there are about fifty of them. With My Play, customers can bet on matches from any of the continents.

The competitions that lure the most wagering interest and funds are the English Premier League (EPL) and the UEFA Champions League (CL). Take a look at the result markets for these leagues. When you do, you'll notice something immediately, and it's not even a gamble to wager this as a certitude: The margins are grossly inflated. At Mr Play, you can see the live match odds displayed, along with the pertinent date and time details. When you click on a particular match, you're taken to an almost excessively detailed betting page. On one side, you have a list of links to the primary gambling options, each of which, when clicked, reveals a pop-up with an array of sub-options. The main options alone provide a good 10 or so different ways to bet on a given match. You can place bets months in advance on the clear winner of various league and Cup competitions. In football, some of the more familiar betting markets are the match winner, total number of goals (Over/Under), and who will cover the handicap.

Basketball

basketball blue banner

Close on the heels of betting on football is betting on basketball. The leagues that attract the most American attention seem to be basketball leagues, but several European basketball leagues attract a lot of attention and betting interest as well. These leagues are found in the next section and are displayed by nation, then in alphabetical order. The same three markets that are the most common for betting on football also apply to betting on basketball. They are the money line, the spread, and an equally common sounding market known as Over/Under. These also pay off as bets all the way down to the quarter length of the game.

The most venerable association in the domain is the North American NBA. The market for the money line is set with a margin of over 5%, which is about the average. My Play provides betting options for the main domestic leagues across Europe. It also covers the Euroleague, which mirrors the Champions League's structure in football.

Tennis

tennis banner

Tennis is an exceptional sport in which to find Mr Play and other online bookmakers taking more in-play bets than pre-match bets. Consumers can gamble on a nearly endless and exciting array of betting events tied to the Association of Tennis Professionals and Women’s Tennis Association; Challenger; and International Tennis Federation events. Most betting patrons seem to favor the most popular betting markets: match winner; first set winner; set and game handicap; and total games. And that is a very good thing. These four markets—along with another, the total games market, which is a good thing because it helps in the next paragraph—are markets that really need to be got right by a bookmaker providing value to its customers. For the match winner market, Mr Play applies a margin of over 8%, which does not seem to fit in with the generally accepted range of 4-6%.

Other Markets

Mr. Play doesn't just cater to the mainstream sports market; he also provides a wide variety of other betting options for punters seeking something more offbeat. Whether it's eSports, mixed martial arts, or any other not-so-typical sporting event, you can find a betting line on Mr. Play. Even more obscure activities, such as futsal, sumo wrestling, and "trot" (or horse trotting), are covered. In fact, if you find that one of the events you're interested in isn't covered, that's probably a good sign that whatever you're doing isn't quite up to snuff as a sport.

Mr Play Mobile Betting And Sports App

Final version of Mr Play's sportsbook isn't ready yet, and so the operator hasn't released a downloadable mobile app. There isn't a mobile product that you can install on either iOS or Android. But you can access the fully functional site on either of those browsers if they're mobile-optimized. Mr Play doesn't offer a mobile-specific package of bonuses and promotions for either new or existing customers. But the site is set up for the kind of all-the-time-access that customers expect whenever they use a mobile device.

Mr Play Bookmaker Features

Mr. Play is a conventional fixed-odds betting website, allowing customers to place back bets at the odds they see seen on the site.

In-Play

in play banner

You can view currently occurring events on Mr. Play's Sports page, which is accessible via the main menu. Nearing the end of my live event count, I saw that there were around 100 live betting events taking place at the same time. The most consistently present live betting event types (or the ones I saw repeated most often) were football, basketball, and tennis. For those 100 simultaneous live betting events, the bet options were, if anything, even denser than usual. I also saw these 'Live Betting' canisters on the event listings for Golf, Ice Hockey, Rugby, and a few other sports that all have events happening either in real-time or happening soon.

Cash Out

Cash Out banner

Customers of Mr Play have the option to cash out their bets. This feature allows you to close a bet before the final outcome, doing one of three things: guaranteeing a profit if the odds are moving in your favor, limiting your loss if the odds are moving against you, or (and this is a first for us here at Mr Play!) cashing out a winning acca if you've completed all of your selections and still have outstanding legs (more on that below). You can cash out fully, partially, or not at all (if you reject the cash-out offer). How much you get when you cash out depends on your original bet and the current odds.

Pulse Betting

pulse betting banner

An increasing number of online gamblers seem to be choosing 'Spot Betting,' it seems, which entails making bets on short-term markets, during an event that is in-play. This trend has been noted by Mr Play, who have a form of this type of betting, called Pulse Betting. 'We only offer Pulse Betting right now on football, but if it’s popular, we can introduce it to other sports and markets, too,' they explain. In Pulse Betting, you can place a bet on outcomes in a match (e.g., football) in the next 30 seconds, 1, 5, and 10 minutes—after which you'd presumably switch to some kind of normal in-play bet.

Mr Play Banking Options

A significant asset of the Mr Play sports betting and online casino service is the vast array of payment alternatives. Clients can choose from debit cards, e-wallets, prepaid cards, and bank wire transfer, to name a few, to move money to and from their accounts in order to place bets and play games. Putting cash into your account is easy and instant, while taking cash out is just as simple as your online banking in the past has been. There is one catch, though: You need to know something about the method and provider you pick when it's time to make a withdrawal. Fees and processing times can vary tremendously across the several options.

Opening A Mr Play Account, Deposit And Bet

Deposit And Bet infographic

People coming to the Mr Play website's home page and thinking about whether to create an account click on the words OPEN ACCOUNT. Probably prospective clients, they then enter their personal and account details into the system, which obviously includes a Username and Password. After all necessary fields are filled, the new souls verify that the account is established. Next, they are prompted to make their initial deposit. This entails indicating to the site the chosen method of payment and the amount of payment to remit. Once remitted and cleared—and the players having satisfied some requirement to bet—the players get to the task of finding a market in which to bet. They use either the Search facility or the sports menus to do this. Having found a market, and if it has options in sufficient number, the players might then select the options they wish to bet on and proceed to the Bet Slip. Here the players are asked to make a few determinations before going forward with the transaction.

Customer Support

Methods of contacting are limited to a contact form, and currently, there is no kind of support that involves a phone or a computer screen used for sending email. However, there is a live chat, and it is used to communicate with the support team that works in the hours of 8 A.M. to 1 A.M. CET. The team could be thought of as the night shift, only working correspondingly with those in the time zone 8 A.M. to 1 A.M. CET. When I say "CET," I am referring to Amsterdam, Berlin, and so forth. One could also look in the help section or the FAQ to find the answers to the most common questions.

Security & Regulations

At Mr. Play, there is no need to worry about safety because the bookie uses 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology to ensure all customer details are kept private. Additionally, firewalls are in place to protect against fraud. Never is personal information shared with a third party, and the Mr. Play privacy policy is always conveniently accessible. That the bookie is licensed and regulated by the UK Gambling Commission and the Malta Gaming Authority means Mr. Play has passed very strict safety tests in this area. When it comes to payments, all methods are 100% safe. The padlock symbol next to the payment option says so. All transactions are processed by a trustworthy company, AG Communications Limited, who are also licensed in the UK and Malta.

More On The Bookmaker

Since 2017, an online casino and a live casino have been run by My Play. They have been quite new to the online gaming stage, but the feeling here is that they have been doing something right, since now they've also launched a sportsbook. Playing at their an online casino, a live casino, or wagering on a sporting event, you would experience consistent branding and interface design across all three divisions. 'The easily navigable interface' is one of the hallmarks of the My Play online casino.

Mr. Play FAQ

faq-banner

Bettors in the UK can legally register with Mr. Play because they are licensed by the Gambling Commission. This online bookmaker also has a gambling license from the Malta Gaming Authority, which enables them to provide their services to a large number of betting customers.

How to download Mr Play Android app?

The Mr. Play Android app can be downloaded from the Google Play Store or by using a link on the Mr. Play mobile site. This unfortunately means there is currently no Mr. Play app available for iOS.

How do I cash out winnings on Mr Play?

In order to collect your winnings from Mr. Play, you need to follow a few easy steps. To begin, sign into your account and hit the 'Cashier' button. Next, pick the 'Cash Out' option, and enter the amount you wish to withdraw, along with the payment method you've selected. Options include debit cards, bank transfer, Neteller, Skrill, PayPal, Trustly, and ecoPayz. You're looking at between 1-6 working days for your withdrawal to process.

What is Mr. Play Reward Points Program?

Mr. Play features a points system that enables members to earn rewards convertible into several kinds of advantages. The rewards program is tiered into seven levels, with the next level offering a noticeably better set of features than the one immediately preceding it. The features become progressively more enticing until the top two levels, where the only difference seems to be how much more of an advantage you have over the bottom five levels.

Mr Play Bottom Line

New kid Mr Play is the new kid on the block in the crowded online bookmaking market. The early signs during the site's infancy suggested an all-around decent product, but one that just didn't pop with any must-have, standout features. Even now, the welcome bonus is just decent and the ongoing promotions from the site are few and far between. If anything, they serve as a reminder that no site can have stale promotions all the time. The odds values at Mr Play are on par with what you'd find for most other online bookmakers, and the sports offered are the usual suspects you'd expect most anywhere. This is not a surefire bet for emerging market share.
